ABOUT

    The objective of the workshop is to provide an opportunity for the engineers and academicians to impart advanced and research oriented knowledge on simulation of various systems, equipment and its components. Working in a simulation environment will provide sufficient time for the engineers to develop new ideas and better solutions in a most economical way. This course will lay a platform to learn 2D & 3D geometry creation, discretization methods, meshing techniques, solution methodologies and post-processing tools to solve complex engineering problems.

  • Introduction to ANSYS Fluent

  • Creating and meshing a basic geometry

  • Geometry import from other software tools

  • Discretization of domain (Meshing types and grid generation)

  • Solver basics and boundary conditions

  • Post-processing using Fluent

  • Fluid flow (turbulence) and Heat transfer modeling

  • Advances in CFD applications
